We've just signed a brand new record deal with Bonnier Amigo. Our second full lenght album will be released in Sweden later this summer. The first single will be out in August.

The last episode of Grey's Anatomy which was broadcasted this thursday in the U.S featured our hit song "C'mon yeah!". This was the second time the song was used in our favourite hospital.

We are currently in Berlin mixing our forthcoming album. It's being done by the excellent Philip Hoppen at Ballsaal-Studios. The studio was earlier a ballroom for the SS generals and their beutiful women... hmm...anyway... We expect the mix to be finnished in the end of march.

Today we're entering Svenska Grammofonstudion in order to record our second album. Together with us we have one of Sweden's greatest producers Ludwig Böss. We will not leave until we've finished an album so great that your mother will buy you 2 copies for your next birthday. One for listening to and one with the sealing intact for your collection. Horatio Caine is not only super-cool and red headed. He appearently also has a good taste in music. In an upcoming episode of the CBS series CSI Miami, crimes will be solved to the sound of The Sunshine's Saturday Night. You better not miss it!

The Sunshine has been kind of spread out all over the world during July. Now when all of us finally have found our way back the citizens of Stockholm has arranged a great ceremony in our honour. We really appreciate the gesture and hope as many of you as possible can join us. The ceremony - that goes by the name "Rockrave" will be held at "Skeppsbar" which is about two blocks from the Royal Castle. The entrance is free and we - the band members of the Sunshine - will be behind the turntables all night long. See you there!

We got a brand new webshop up and running. The items in the shop are available for fans all over the world. Please click on "shop" in the main menu to find it. The shop will soon be available in several languages.

This week The Sunshine will be playing not less than 2 gigs at at "The Most Famous Club in the World". The Beatles played more than 300 gigs at The Cavern wich means we have to play about 298 more after this weekend. If you are in the neighbourhood please come and have a ball with us and lots of other bands from the whole world at the international pop overthrow.

This thursday The Sunshine will do an exclusive gig at Landet (Telefonplan). There will be a lot of new songs and also kind of a new ensemble since Magnus is going to bring his trumpet and join Mats-Peters' section. Be there on time because the venue is not that big. Doors open at 19:00.

Italy here we come! She’s my television is currently on the air all over the country that invented pizza. Both the music television and radio DJs har realized the greatness of Swedish Motown. The single as well as the whole album will hit the stores by the end of this month.

In episode 22 of Grey's anatomy all viewers could enjoy the tunes of C'mon yeah accompaning the bashing of a skeleton. Apparently the surgeons liked it because in episode 23 you can once again hear a song by your favorite band. This time it's Love that's embellishing the experience.

Yesterday our debut album "Love" was released in France. Some of us are heading down there tomorrow already to meet the spring in Paris. Most likely we will never come back. Big up to all of our French fans who has been supporting us this whole year with e-mails and guestbook entries. It's payback time!

This week's episode of "Grey's Anatomy" features some really great songs. One of them is our party starter "C'mon yeah". The Episode is called "The Name of the Game" and number 22 of the season currently being broadcasted in the States. We haven't seen it yet ourselves but hope it's in a scene with a lot of blood.

The fantastic single "Love" will participate in two american sitcoms next week. The shows in question are "According to Jim" and "Hope and Fait". So, beware of The Sunshine, Yankees!

As the headline indicates we have started flirting with the French audience. After a sync in a commercial and a release of Love as a single/video we are now about to release our full length debut album. The record company goes by the name Naïve and we are in good company all right with bands like the White Stripes, Muse and Badly Drawn Boy. The album is scheduled to late March.

This Tuesday the 14:th of february we will show our respect to the great Valentine by performing live in the TV-studio of BIG-TV. We know it might sound a bit cheezy to perform a song called "Love" on this very day. But hey, we've never claimed we're not!

We are very happy to inform our japanese fans that Love soon will be available in your territory. The Sunshine has signed up with a nice label called Vinyl Junkie and the record will be out early next year.

The Mayor of the Sunset Strip himself, Mr Rodney Bingenheimer, opened his show last night with the following words. "I have just discovered a a new band and they are amazing. This is the Sunshine and this is Simon le Bon." Do we need to say more?

To celebrate the man and his legend The Sunshine will contribute with a live performance at the Stockholm Peel day. SPD will take place at STREET, Hornstull Strand 4 and it will be FREE. For those who missed our concert on P3 Popstad there will be a new possibility to hear it. On Sunday the 26:th of June P5 Live is going to broadcast parts of it. The program starts at 15:00.

We are happy to announce that our first two singles now are available internationally from Rough Trade. Today is the release date for the book "Festival" featuring great pictures of the Sunshine´s performance at Hultsfred last year. The book is written by Kalle Assbring and Christoffer Sorner and published by Spiralla.

This weekend we will shoot the video for our next single "She´s my television". It´s going to be a pure pleasure to work with the guys from BURT once again.

Yesterday Pelle Gustafsson in his program "P3Lab" played Sabotage for the first time in National radio. He also expressed that his expectations for the forthcoming album is extremely high.

The release party became a complete success and we were delighted to see that so many people liked our record collections! Sabotage is now available at Pet Sounds, Mickes Skivor and of course at Groover recordings webbsite. ZTV is already playing the video and the single will be out in your local record store on the 6:th of April.
